Will there be any problem, If I don't have Surname in my academic documents while applying for US universities?

Hi, I am willing to pursue my master's degree from USA. Only hurdle that is coming in my way is I don't have Surname in any of my Academic documents. I am worried this can cause a problem while applying for universities. I have seen, to apply for any US University lastname is mandatory. Thank you.
