No, there will be no problem because LPU is UGC approved and the University that has UGC approval does not need AICTE approval. It has other accreditation also like Association Of Indian Universities (AIU), Council Of Architecture (COA), National Council For Teacher Education (NCTE), Pharmacy Council Of India (PCI), Indian Council Of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Bar Council Of India (BCI), The Institution Of Engineers (India), Institute Of Town Planners, India (ITPI) as well as International Memberships such as International Association Of Universities (IAU), France, Association Of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), The Institute Of International Education (IIE), Accreditation Council For Business Schools And Programs (ACBSP), etc. Thanks.

Dear Himanshu, There is no problem in placements at LPU while studying a technical programme. Moreover, LPU is UGC approved so there is no need for AICTE approval. Being alumni of LPU, let me share the placement details of LPU. I would say that LPU is better in terms of placements. In fact, LPU created a new record in the whole of North India by placing its student Tanya Arora with Microsoft, who bagged a package of 42 LPA. Besides, other record-breaking placements for LPU includes: the highest Placement (Engineering) Rs. 42 Lacs per annum (Microsoft) the highest Placement (Management) Rs. 21 Lacs per annum (SOBHA Developers) the highest Placement (Design) Rs. 36.5 Lacs per annum (SIXT India) Amazon recruited LPU students on a package of 28 LPA The highest internship stipend is up to 80k per month. (which is really hard to get in other universities) The reason why LPU has better placement records than other universities is because of its unique career cell. It enables students in getting relevant work experience to complement their studies and develop appropriate skills and knowledge. Resume writing, aptitude development workshops among other activities are hosted for the overall development of students and prepare them to crack the interviews easily. According to the Supreme Court, AICTE approval is required only when the course is being run by an institute. The Supreme Court has ruled that AICTE certification is only necessary when the course is being offered by an institute. However, as LPU is a full-fledged university with UGC recognition, AICTE clearance is not necessary. You will no face any such problem. It offers good placement and it is good college. Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar is popularly known as LPU is conducting its placement drive for the batch 2022 and this year the highest CTC stood at INR 3 CPA which was 1.5 times higher than the last year. The highest domestic salary stood at INR 62.72 LPA. A total of 8400 Job and Internship offers were made. Cognizant recruited the maximum number of students (1410+ Students) followed by Capgemini which recruited 770+ Students. A students of B.Tech CSE/IT was offered a package of INR 49.4 LPA by Paloalto. A total of 383 students have been placed at the packages of INR 10-64 LPA. Good Luck!

The most Common and important thing which is usually being asked for every college or university. I have spent 4 years in LPU and yes of course I have been placed in good company with the handsome package. Honestly saying LPU has a great role in this. When I joined LPU I was not good at speaking, presenting but LPU gave me all required inputs through PEP classes and Soft Skill Classes which actually groomed me. LPU has separate department of career services which help students in every step. The university has been ranked high by various outer agencies with regard to the placements of the students. LPU is conferred with National Employability Award 2020 by Aspiring Minds for the 7th time in a row for most Employable Students and one among the top colleges and universities in India with one of the highest Employability rates. LPU is ranked 10th Best Training and Placements Institutions in India for 2019 by The Knowledge Review. Business Today ranked LPU among the Top 100 Private State Universities in the Placement Performance Category.

LPU is one of the best choice for agriculture programme. Lovely Professional University is first private university accredited by Indian Council of Agricultural Research AICTE. No other private university has this accreditation. LPU is one of the great place for education where the management actually believe on actions rather than words. Whatever they promised they delivered to us along with in campus placement at good package.
