Yes, there is, I am student of bit sindri dhanbad which is situated in jharkhand,

And in here they do not allow lateral entry B.Tech students in the most of the company placement.

For the regular student company the highest package salary is-12-15LPA

And for lateral entry students only-6-8lpa

I am actually electrical engineering student,

And in this the company like vadenta, tata steel etc. Lateral entry students doesn't all to sit in the placement programme .

No, the placements doesn't vary after doing B.Tech through lateral entry. But, yes, you are always given preference over the student of your college and stream if he/she has done B.Tech normally.

You will face no such problem during placements. Infact you might even get prioritized among regular entry students as you have no academic experience.

No, there won't be any problem. Your B.Tech degree is considered normal like others.
