Will there be any restriction for SSC Post if I have an eyesight problem?

<p>There are certain eyesight requirements to apply for SSC jobs in India. If your eyesight is worse than 6/6, or if you are color blind, do not see with both eyes, or squint (cross-eyed), then it may be difficult for you to get a job. Usually the worst eye can see at least -20/30 or 6/9 while in the best case it should be able to have a clear sight of 6/6 or 20/20. In addition to this, no one should have myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism beyond limits; normal color vision is expected from all applicants. Also necessary is that all candidates must possess binocular visions without signs of inwardness also known as squint as these determine our depth perception i.e. how we see the world in three dimensions.</p>
