There are certain eyesight requirements to apply for SSC jobs in India. If your eyesight is worse than 6/6, or if you are color blind, do not see with both eyes, or squint (cross-eyed), then it may be difficult for you to get a job. Usually the worst eye can see at least -20/30 or 6/9 while in the best case it should be able to have a clear sight of 6/6 or 20/20. In addition to this, no one should have myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism beyond limits; normal color vision is expected from all applicants.
