    Hi,
    Yes, you can still become a lecturer by qualifying the NET exam after completion of your M.A. It does not matter if you have completed your MA from Open University, all you require is that university should be a recognized university and you have completed the post-graduation with a minimum required marks. NTA conducts the UGC NET exam twice a year for candidates who want to make a career in lectureship. After qualifying the UGC NET exam you can directly become an assistant professor in any of the top UGC recognized universities across India.     Some colleges or universities may consider your application for the post of lecturer if you have successfully completed your degree from an open university. You need to qualify NET exam too.
