Will there be any spot round in NIT or IIT this year?

Hi Latha,
Last year, SPECIAL ROUND 2017 was conducted.
CSAB SPECIAL ROUND will be conducted only for NITs, IIITs and CFTIs was held for those candidates who were not allotted in JoSAA Counselling or who couldn't fill up choice entry but have valid JEE Main Scores. If seats goes vacant then there will be possibility of conducting SPECIAL ROUND. In due course of JoSAA Counselling it will be notified whether the SPECIAL ROUND will be conducted this year or not, if seat goes vacant.
NOTE : If seat goes vacant even after 7th Round of JoSAA Counselling then SPECIAL ROUND may be conducted. -
Hi Latha,
No such spot round is there in NITs and IITs this year. On the basis of JEE Mains and Advance rank admission process will be done.
