The WB HS Board will be held twice a year starting in the academic session 2025-26, and students will be able to keep their the highest results, according to the Ministry of Education. Additionally, the MoE stated that in classes 11 and 12, students will be required to study two languages, with one of those languages having to be Indian. For the 2026-27 academic year, the board will distribute books in accordance with the updated National Curriculum Framework (NCF).
