In the private college, no doubt that there is awesome study environment and there is lot more to do, but in the government college, placements is much better than any private college, and there you will get enough time to study and also to learn new skills that is more important in the CSE field.

In case, you don't get your desired college, don't settle for something mediocre. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if you try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech CSE. They have different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on the basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct admission on basis

I can understand that but the thing is that AKTU (UPTU) colleges are not good, even JSS is of no good, you have to do most of the things yourself. So I'd recommended government colleges as it will save you parent's precious money and I'd also recommend to avoid UPTU colleges.
