It is difficult to get admission in S.P Jain, FMS, etc. However, you can try and apply for PGDM courses of Welingkar, SIMSR, etc where GD-PI performance is given more importance. You can also refer to the link below for the list of colleges.

It is quite difficult to get admission in any of these B-Schools with this percentile assuming you are a general engineer male. For details of the top B-Schools in India you can refer to the following link:

You have good academics, FMS, MDI Gurgaon and S.P. Jain will be hard to crack but ofcourse you can try. Some other colleges like MDI Musridabadh, IMI Delhi, XIMB Bhubaneswar, Symbiosis will be good with 75 percentile in CAT.

Your percentile is very low and you are not eligible for leading B Schools like FMS, MDI, S.P. Jain
At this CAT percentile, you can try, IMT Hyderabad, IMT Nagpur, IFIM, BIMTECH, NIRMA and others.

It is generally hard to get admissions in any of the colleges mentioned by you with 75 percentile. But, don't not get demotivated and keep reading to what I am about to write further. Generally, it is essential to score 80 or above percentile if you really want to get admission in a good college. Just a little hardwork and faith is all what is required for you to achieve that and much more. Now since my childhood friend's brother is pursuing Global MBA in SP Jain School of Global Management (different from SPJIMR), I was quite impressed by the curriculum that this college has to offer. However, there are 2 things that you need to keep

    Hi Saurabh,
First of all, FMS Delhi is not a private B-School. It's a faculty of University of Delhi.
With 75 percentile you can certainly not be able to get into FMS Delhi.

    Hi Saurabh,
It is very difficult to get an admission in a top B-School like MDI, Gurgaon with 75 percentile in General Category. However, there are a number of decent colleges, where you can apply and have a chance of getting admission.

At GIBS, they keep the entrance exam part really simple. For PGDM or MBA, they accept almost all the common exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, and GMAT. Even state-level or institute-level scores are considered.

Honestly, GIBS doesn't stress too much about “only one specific exam.” As long as you have written any of these exams and meet the basic cut-off, you're good to apply. They focus more on your overall profile, communication, and interest in management rather than just exam marks.

ALL THE BEST!

GIBS Business School considers the overall CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, and GMAT scores for the admission of candidates in the PGDM and MBA programs. Rather than using solely high cut-offs, the entrance test scores are used to judge the aptitude of a candidate in terms of analysis, quant, and verbal for management education at GIBS. Candidates meeting the qualifying cut-off based on their scores would be short-listed for the next stage of selection, which would consist of a Group Discussion (GD) and a Personal Interview (PI). At GIBS, the faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:15, which honestly makes learning a lot easier. Since the classes aren't overcrowded, the faculty actually get time to focus on each student.

You can easily ask your doubts, get personal guidance, and have open discussions. It feels more like a mentor-student connection than a typical classroom setup. This helps a lot in understanding concepts better and building confidence for real-world situations.
