Hi Arun,
MBA is a degree course and if done from a recognized and reputed institute/ university will definitely open doors for a career in PSUs.

If you are competent no body will prevent you from getting into a public sector firm.

After having MBA you can easily reach at a higher level in public sector firms. specially nationalized banks.
