No, I believe that you do not need to make a formal resume for your mba admission. However, your top few points in each of academics, co curriculars and extra curriculars will be helpful for you.

For MBA no need of preparing a formal resume, you just have to fill application form & you should have mini 50% in you Graduation, in some colleges they consider CAT,MAT,XAT scores & in some B-Schools they follow their own selection pattern to select the students.
