With which engineering branch among B.Tech in IT and B.Tech in CSE can I become the best software engineer?

See, IT or CSE does not matter at all. Both the branches are equally good. You can excel in both the branches. Both the branches have almost similar subjects. if there are 40 subjects in total then 36 subjects are common. If you are considering placement wise then both the branches have bright future. After it depends on your hard work and capability. If your skills are according to companies requirements, they will hire you for sure but you have to work hard. For that, in the field of software, you may get very good jobs off campus.

Dear Rohit, Well, there can be many aspects to be considered while choosing a branch (stream) for B.Tech. You have to choose the stream as per your interest. No branch is less or more important, each of them has its own importance, it solely depends on you, in which stream you want to make your career. Core branches such as civil, mechanical, computers and electrical are the best branches of engineering. Since EXTC is not a core branch so it is less preferable.

Hello, B.Tech in CSE is a good option as per today's requirement and there are good placements today. But companies only take students who have extra skills along with the degree. They don't just take degree holders. So, do extra courses and job will be in your hand. Cities like Pune, Bangalore, Delhi Ahmedabad are more prone to jobs in these sectors. Best of luck.
