You can go for M.Sc in biotechnology or genetic sciences. These courses are related to biotechnology. You can also check for nanotechnology but I think it requires B.Sc in the same field.

After M.Sc, you will get job opportunities in research field and the expected salary would be min 25000 per month. You can also go for UGC NET after pursuing B.Sc or M.Sc to join research field.

Biotechnology has many wider scope. Once you are done with B.Sc, then you can go for food technology, molecular biology and biotechnology, microbiology, dairy technology, genetics, biochemistry, engineering and bioinformatics.

After completing B.Sc in microbiology, you can opt for any of the following courses:
1. M.Sc in biotechnology
2. M.Sc in food technology
3. M.Sc in dairy technology
4. Medical microbiology
5. Clinical microbiology
