There are no criteria to become a cyber security expert, having a knowledge in it is just an add-on. If you are fully dedicated to making a career in it, then you will learn all relevant skills. I have many cyber experts from non-technical background doing well in their organisations. You can also get certified along with the current job. There is an institute named CSSRL in Pune where they design our course schedule as per our convenience. Their course content is also very good. Give it a try.
