In order to get the admission in GNM course in R.G. Kar Medical College and Hospital without entrance test, the applicant must fulfill the following condition: She/He must be the Indian citizen and permanent resident of West Bengal and should passed 12th standard with 40% of marks . The authorities who accept the applications make a merit list to admit students into GNM course and this merit is based on the marks they obtained in the exams for their previous courses.
