Worried about my future.Unable to decide.But focused on 12th .Not taking any competitive level coaching.Weak Base

I am presently in class 12th.I am planning to do B-tech & then MBA & for this I want to drop a year after 12th so that I could clear my basics of class 11th & can also prepare for the competitive exams.Should I drop a year & if Yes then which institute I should choose for the same.What should I do?
