No, there are None of disadvantages. If you crack this exam, then you life will so beautiful.

Will there be any effect in placements? I had appeared for JEE Mains in 2017 (failed), 2018 (failed). Now, I am confident to crack JEE Mains (2019). There will be no problems if you take. Drop for 2nd time but it will be like your last chance. You have to work hard. Good Luck.

If you have the confidence that you will crack JEE 2019, you should go for it. If your parents are supporting that's very good. Listen to your heart. Good luck.
