85% marks in English was the eligibility criteria to be able to fill the form, for the General Category for B.M.C. If you score less than that in English, there isn't much that you can do as it is the basic eligibility criteria. However, it was the criteria last year, you can keep checking the college website for the criteria of this year. It might change.
