Would work experience of one year at the managerial level carry weight for a banking professional looking at appearing for the UPSC exam
Hi, I am a banker holding a managerial post in a pvt sector bank with 1 yr experience in retail banking. I am a commerce graduate from Calcutta University. I want appear for all UPSC exams. Now I am 24 .. would it be a rational decision?? would I get preference for job experience in these exams ??

Since you are interested in UPSC, i would like to say that their are two stages that you need to clear- preliminary exam and main exam. In order to prepare for UPSC the minimum requirement is graduation from a recognized university and the age group is 21-30yrs and people who clear the

Yes,you can appear for UPSC.age limit is below 30 for open category.You have to select two optional paper for main & one for preliminary. Preliminary exam notice will come in last week of Nov Or 1st week of Dec. Preliminary will conduct in May.For open category,you have 4 attempt
