Forget that salary issue. . If you don't have good knowledge then which company will pay you good money. .
First of all choose the field of your interest. .
If you are not good in maths and programing . .then choose MBA . .
and if you can solve maths like an average or good student then

both are good line if you want to become an software engg then MCA is good otherwise MBA
