Airlines have strict policies on age limit for cabin crew. Does this mean end of a career for cabin crew after they cross this age limit?

What other job profiles can they explore hereafter?

Cabin crew job is a hospitality task. It involves roster duties involving departures at almost any time of day or night. So, it becomes an important physical requirement to remain medically fit.
Young Cabin Crew members are more energetic when compared to those who are elder. But, when it comes to experience the elder once are more suited and are best once to handle such situations.
So, a cross control situation arises when it comes to organize the roster for cabin crew. Most who are elder are asked to take ground jobs apart from flying. They are rostered for duties for lesser number of hours as compared to their young counterparts.

Most of the airlines in India hire crew at the age of 18 plus.
The age limit to work for any organization in India is 45, but that doesn't mean that your career will end this early in aviation.
One can always grow in this field as once you have sufficient amount of experience, you can always switch to another grade in the same field.
Aviation opportunities are vast, it depends on you how fast you grow.
When your 'WHY' is clear, then your 'HOW' will follow.
It is as simple as that.

    Hi,
It's an absurd philosophy that 'My career will Ends'. It never ends. As per your query, it is the general fact that airlines are really strict for cabin crew's age limit but it doesn't mean that you cannot enter in Aviation market after this age. As per various airlines age limit for cabin crew is between 25 years to 27 years for 'Fresh Talent'. It means that only freshers (and experienced) will have to face this strict policy but if you are equipped with some experience from other airlines as well then you can definitely enter into aviation industry and allowed to serve for until you reach at your retirement age. However, the secon

    Hello,
Strict policies on age limit for cabin crew is in existence, but that means restrictions or limit up to which a person can be recruited as cabin crew. It's about 25-27 years. Even after this age, cabin crew are inducted, but only with experience meaning fresh talent is not recruited after this age.
However, it is brought out that once inducted, cabin crew is allowed to work till designated retirement age. Of course fitness and other attributes need to be maintained by the cabin crew.
The issue, is except for Air India, all other carriers in India are perhaps still to reach that stage where age of cabin crew will be of concern. Air
