Dear Ashutosh, With CGPA of 9.20 you may well be eligible for the coveted Automobiles programme from LPU ! While I cannot say for sure (As you haven't mentioned the conversion factor of your CGPA) about the amount of scholarships, but surely you will be eligible for it. Institutes which offer direct admission have certain criteria for admission. Either they offer admission on the basis of merit in qualifying exam or there are some management seats reserved in private engineering colleges. Yes, you are eligible for admissions. Moreover, you also need to give LPU-NEST as an entrance and scholarship test which will decide your admissions and your scholarship as well and it is mandatory too.

Dear Aashutosh, You definitely can get admission. The eligibility criteria is passed with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering). (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 years. After 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU-NEST. Or In case marks scored in Diploma (engineering. ). Or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) are 70% or above, then LPU-NEST will be exempted and the candidate may apply for admission. Hi, Your CGPA indicates that you are eligible for B.Tech automobile engineering. Your scholarship cannot be informed to you right now as your percentage is not clear. You can give LPU NEST for a bigger scale of scholarship. The syllabus and the paper pattern of your course would be given on the website of LPU. One of my friend was enrolled in B.Tech Automobile as well. Few major point I will be sharing about LPU, I hope that helps. LPU is good for automobile engineering. Good placements in core company as well as software company. Other than participating different events like go kart, project expo, entertainment events like one India, one world etc. Practical based learning and valuable guest lectures also. LPU provides a lot of opportunities to each and every of the eligible students for good placement. LPU rated as 11th Best in India from Zee News Survey in Placements. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements, after all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. I shouldn't even have to explain this one. Various major companies take part in recruitment at LPU every year, some as Volkswagon, Voltas, Anglo Eastern Ship Mgt. , Asahi India, Rockman (Hero group), Dharam Consulting, Samundra, Indo-MIM, Sandhar Technologies, JK Lakshmi Cement, Maruti, Lava, XL Dynamics, Asahi India, Cleanmax Solar, Elgi Equipments, etc. On an average, 200 MNCs visit our campus every year, placing around 2000 students every year.
