Am I eligible for Ph.D after PGDM in HR? If yes, what's the procedure to apply for the same? And which University/Institute should I prefer?

Dear Tejashree, PGDM is a Diploma course, through which you are given a certificate by the institute or recognised university. So PGDM is a 2 years course, and basically you can surely go for Ph.D. But be careful that you are allowed to go for Ph.D. when you do your PGDM from an AICTE recognised college. The best option for is to get a PGDM course from Iims (Indian Institute of Management). You are only eligible to do Ph.D. when you come with your PGDM Course from an AICTE approved college. The colleges/Institutions providing this PGDM Course must be a member of Association of Indian universities. In your case you have already completed your PGDM. Just check if your institution is AICTE approved. The second option is master's degree with 60 percent for general candidates. The added advantage with you is your experience.
