All branches are equally good and has equal opportunities. what matters is your interest, explore it and then shortlist a few then I will help you further
sorry to say but with these marks you mentioned it will be difficult to get a good college. I suggest you to work hard and get a good JEE score as well as apply for improvement in boards.

Please be very careful while choosing your branch and take care of the below points:
    1. Don't take a branch that is a derivative of some other beach, like Industrial engineering, Instrumentation, Biotech, Automobile or Aeronautical. Most of the Indian companies are service-based, so none of them look for such skill set.
    2. Choose from Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, CS, IS but not electrical and chemical, again you won't find jobs, in electrical and the subjects taught are tough too.
    3. Go through the curriculum of all the above-mentioned branch, relate them to the subjects you studied in class 11th and 12th. Try to figure out what all yo

studying a whole year the same thing without friend and with immense pressure is very difficult I have seen my friend getting nothing even after taking a drop

If you have appeared for the entrance, it will depend on the overall rank. You may check it using Shiksha rank predictor here.

After finding that, check the last year cutoffs to see what branches are available to you.

Hi.

If you apply with JEE Main scores, CU primarily considers your JEE Main percentile / AIR for admission.

12th marks are generally secondary in this case — mostly used for eligibility criteria (like minimum 50–60% in PCM or aggregate, depending on branch).

High JEE scores can also qualify you for JEE-based scholarships at CU.

Hi.

Yes — for admission to B.Tech/B.E. at Chandigarh University (CU), there is a requirement on your 12th‑class marks (along with other eligibility conditions), even if you're using your JEE Main score.

What's required from 12th (or equivalent) at CU

You must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognised board with Physics and Mathematics.

For many B.Tech courses at CU, including those that accept JEE Main or CU's entrance (CUCET), the minimum aggregate requirement in 12th is around 50% (for general or merit‑based eligibility) as a baseline.

Some sources show that for “full eligibility” (especially for certa

Hi.

If your 12th result has not been announced yet then

Upload expected / provisional marks for now.

Final admission depends on the official 12th mark sheet after results are announced.

Colleges are used to this situation, especially for students applying in early cycles.

Hi.

AIIMS is primarily a medical college/university (undergraduate, postgraduate, super-speciality, etc.) + a hospital.

Its courses begin after Class 12 — i.e. you must have completed 12th standard (10+2) to be eligible for entry into courses like MBBS, B.Sc., etc.

The official course list of AIIMS includes medical and allied health degrees — not school-level classes (11th / 12th) as per its academic catalogue.

Thus, AIIMS itself does not run 11th and 12th standard as a school.
