For psychology students at IILM Gurugram, the classes usually include a mix of lectures, discussions, and practical sessions, usually between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (with breaks between classes!). Some days may have theory-heavy subjects like cognitive or developmental psychology, while other days focus on applied areas such as counselling skills or research methods. Students also work on assignments that involve observation, analysis, or reflective writing. The schedule leaves enough time for reading, self-study, and project work, which is essential for a subject like psychology.
This system allows regular interaction between faculty and you. One faculty member is assigned to a group of 1-6 students to address their academic and personal concerns. There is an Amity Student Counselling Services department where trained counsellors support students to overcome personal and professional challenges.
Psychology students at IILM Gurugram get research exposure through guided research projects, case studies, lab work, seminars, faculty mentorship, and opportunities to present/publish findings.
