Is a room or flat available nearby LPU?

There are a lot of facilities inside the LPU campus but even though you want to know about it outside. Some good nearby areas are:- 1. LAW GATE This place is the most preferred place to stay near LPU as it is the nearest to the university and you can apply for a LAW GATE PASS that will save a lot of time but you need to have any vehicle first before applying. In law GATE you can find numerous flats, Apartment, PG whatever suits you the best Facilities:- TV, AC, Fridge, Furnished *The facilities depends on the budget mostly and for one person 5k is enough to acquire all these facilities 2. Phagwara:- 7-10KM is the cheapest around the LPU and you will find so many individual houses (Kothi) and the whole house will cost you about 10-12K and there is no bondage over the limit of people staying there but still don't turn up into a Lodge as the owner will raise objection over it. Good transportation, Good Market, Cheap Household, Safe and home-like atmosphere. 3. Deepnagar:- Very good place to stay as the rent and market are similar to Phagwara the safest of the other two mentioned places. The distance is 78 KM Attraction Points:- Haveli, Viva college Mall, Near to Jalandhar, McDonald, KFC, Subway, EasyDay, Jalandhar Cantt. These are some places to stay near LPU.

YES, Rooms, apartments, flats are available nearby LPU, but I would suggest LPU hostel. There are number of reasons, For security purposes, it is very reliable for the girls' students. It also contributes the gratification to the parents as well because we are living far away from our homes. The major concern of the parents is the security and safety of their children and LPU is well known for its security. Turnstiles gates are there at the entry of hostels so that no other person should enter the hostel. This University has stringent security measures and is Guarded by highly dedicated Security male and Female Guards deputed all around the premises. This University has Centralized Security Control Room with 4500+ CCTV cameras all around the university. Apart from this, they are providing other facilities also: Free internet connectivity through Wi-Fi system for scheduled timing for academic purposes only. In Campus Physiotherapy Clinic and Hospital with resident doctors and ambulances to provide medical assistance to students. Power backup for light load only (not for AC/Geyser/Air cooler). 24 hours security. Laundry Services (optional on payment basis) hygienic and nutritious vegetarian meals (optional) Hostel counselors ( solve the problems of students in the context of family issues, studies, homesickness, etc. ) Laundry facility Gym facility to remain fit. There are already the best hostels inside LPU. As LPU has the best residential facility already in its 600+ acres of campus. And it's a matter of girl security. And trust me I am also a student o LPU. I always prefer LPU hostels over PG and flat outside. Because I won't get 24/7 security there. I have to cook on my own, I need to clean my room on my own. There are various factors that waste the time and effort of students living outside. And I feel it's costly outside. On-campus I am getting 24/7 Wi-Fi, electricity, water, security on the top notch moreover. Good quality food at right time. 24/7 hospital facility, laundry service. Library, saloon, atm, canteens. And mess food is complete Hygienic hence good quality food is already there. Well, there are various good factors of living inside the campus. Hence I feel Hostel and apartments in LPU is the best options you can check those too :) I hope this helps :). .

Turnstiles gates are there at the entry of hostels so that no other person should enter the hostel. This University have stringent security measures and is Guarded by highly dedicated Security male and Female Guards deputed all around the premises. This University have Centralized Security Control Room with 4500+ CCTV cameras all around the university. I stayed in LPU hostel during my Post graduation years and honestly those were the best days of my life. I made some amazing friends and had some amazing experiences. I was staying with two more roommates. The rooms will be of two types-Air conditioned and Air cooler.3 Seater hostels rooms has 3 iron B.Ed,3 Plastic Chair,3 almirah, geyser with attached washroom. Our rooms were spacious, gave us privacy and also gave us space to hangout with friends and chit chat, do projects, spend movie nights and game on! Apart from this they are providing other facilities also- Free internet connectivity through Wi-Fi system for scheduled timing for academic purposes only. In Campus Physiotherapy Clinic and Hospital with resident doctors and ambulances to provide medical assistance to students. Power backup for light load only (not for AC/Geyser/Air cooler). 24 hours security. Laundry Services (optional on payment basis) hygienic and nutritious vegetarian meals (optional) Hostel counsellors ( solve the problems of students in context of family issues, studies, home sickness etc. ) Laundry facility Gym facility to remain fit Study room, TV room, Saloon, Photocopy Machines, Departmental store for daily needs, Cafeteria, vending Machine (soft drinks), Lifts and Parking facility. You can't carry alcohol and smoking products inside the campus and hostels. Because security guards are the king and if you're found involved in such activities, you will get into trouble. Your attendance will be blocked for a month and if you'll not be able to make it 75%, you can't write exams. You scholarship will be cancelled and you have to pay a huge amount of money every semester as tuition fee. Other than this if any girl faces any issues regarding anything that she faces, she can file a complain of the RMS, against that particular issues or person, strict actions are taken immediately by the authorities.

Hi, Yes, there are many options near LPU but I would recommend you to stay in the hostel. The reasons I list below. 1. The primary concern of the parents is the security and safety of their children, and LPU is well known for its security. Turnstiles gates are there at the entry of hostels so that no other person should enter the hostel. 2. There is a 24 hr medical facility. 3. Open Gym, as well as the playground, is there in every hostel for the students. 4. Access to the library till 12 o'clock at midnight. 5. Mess and canteen facility in every hostel is there. 6.24*7 electricity supply and Wi-Fi. If all these facilities are provided, then I think there is no need to move outside. Thanks.

Being an Ex student at Lovely Professional University, I would suggest you choose hostels over PGs outside the campus. First, I would like to talk about security as we all know that security is the major concern of the parents. There are turnstile gates at every entry of the hostel so that they know the time of the entry of the student and others cannot enter the hostel and for girls, there is the best security ever they have fixed time to mark their attendance so that parents know that their ward is safe. LPU Campus has 500+ security guards and there are so many CCTV cameras within the campus to keep students safe. There are lots of facilities and benefits for staying in the LPU hostel, like a 24x7 open Library, gym, university hospital, shopping mall, free Wi-Fi, and inside your hostel building there is groceries shop. In day time anyone can visit any time of the library but in the night more security provided to the girls, there are security guards who take the girls from the hostel to the library. LPU has a huge library system there are more than 20+ Lacs books and e-books on all subject fields with 11 branches. You will get to utilize the facility of the library at night if you are staying in the hostel. If you want to participate in extracurricular activities then the hostel is best for you because all the activities occur at 5 PM onwards it will be easy for you to join and many times during fests, outsiders are not allowed after 6 so you get the chance to participate in more and more activities. In the hostel, you don't have to worry about food to cook your own food there is a well-maintained mess in which a proper breakfast, lunch, dinner menu has been designed for the students and many food stalls there are like 500+ shops inside the campus providing all varieties of food. Food is not at all a problem at LPU. These the things why I preferred the hostel. BUT choice is all yours LPU never forces you to opt hostel, there are lots of nearby places where you can live LAW GATE DEEP NAGAR, PHAGWARA, etc. All these places are 25 km away from the LPU campus.

I am sure you can find apartments or rooms around LPUs campus, in areas like Hardaspur road and Law GATE road. However, if you are getting admitted to LPU and want to stay close to the university, then I suggest that you seek residence with the university itself. LPU offers hostel facilities to students, both boys and girls. There in fact are a rich variety of options and you can choose from among these based on your preferences and budget. LPU offers both single rooms and multi-seater rooms to students. You can choose if you want an air-conditioned room or a room with an air cooler. Again, if you want an even better arrangement, then there are apartments too that you can opt for. But if you are looking for cheaper options, then there are dormitories at LPU that you can consider. Living in LPU, you can access the university hospital, library, and also gym. I hope this helps Thank You!

The quality of food that we get in the mess is very good. One of the things that LPU does the best is that is regularly checks the food quality and any complain about the food is dealt with immediately. Everyday Food menu gets changed. I had some friends from Kerala, Andra Pradesh, Telangana so they were provided south indian food and I am found of Idli, vada, dosa so sometimes we used to shared the foods also.
