Yes, B.Sc. Psychology Admissions 2022 are mostly merit-based, done on the scores obtained by the candidates in their 10+2 from a recognised board. However, some of the top B.Sc. Psychology colleges in India consider scores of various entrance exams like BHU UET GMAT SAAT etc. Conducted at the State or University level to admit students.

It is compulsory to have a good score in 12th but not compulsory to have psychology. Biology always helps if you wish to go for clinical aspects else, there is no restriction.

Yes — internships are possible for BA Psychology students

Psychology internships allow undergraduates to “apply theoretical knowledge to real-life situations” — in clinics, hospitals, wellness centers, research labs, schools, community-service centres, NGOs, etc.

Some mental-health / wellness centers explicitly offer internship/trainee-positions to BA or BSc psychology students. For example, Peace of Mind (India) offers “graduate internship (BA/BSc Psychology or Clinical Psychology)” which includes patient-center workflow, admin support, content-creation, and “live-project” work.
