What are the chances of placement after B.Sc in game design?

B.Design (Gaming) is a 4-year programme at LPU, the aggregate of minimum of 60% in 10+2 with English as a mandatory subject is required for admission. Hello, As a Alumni i might be biased but the reality is LPU is really doing good also in Multimedia, Gaming and GraphicsFirst of all There is separate Department Called Multimedia which comes under school of design III. This Department has well equipped labs with high end workstations and it has gaming studios also where students can play and test the games on play station, PC and x box platform. Second LPU provides B.design in Gaming ( 4 years) which is started in 2017 and rest of the degrees that is B.design( Multimedia) and B.design( Graphics) are started in 2009 About placements :.LPu has centralized system of placements and multimedia department has very good record in placements from last 8 years. As per the B.design ( Gaming ) Course , this year the first batch will get passed out and as per the showreels of students they will definaty will get a good place in industry . Otherwise Multimedia students of LPU has campus placements in companies like Amazon ( as 3d Artist), Rockstar games, Kony India, xentrix studio, Dq entertainment, Prime focus, Green gold animation and so on with maximum packages of 8 lakh per annum and average packages are 5 lakh per annum. after b.design in multimedia and graphics and even masters degrees also. Faculties are well experienced and specialized and everyone from industry having More than 8 to 10 years of experience in their respective field .everyone is so helpful and good mentors. Reality is LPU is always give platform of placement to students even they give soft skills and personality development classes also so students of creative field also do well in presentations of their work and designs. even i got campus placement in prime focus but i did freelancing of motion graphics from there i opened my venture. The environment is so good in department. 98 % are practical based courses as per the industry standards. in gaming also they are teaching UNITY, level designing, programming 3d and 2d visualization , game testing, game art, character designing and so on. Every syllabus is benchmarked with foreign universities and studios also. Even LPU prepares every student that how one has to participate in interview process and how to present himself/herself. So you donot have to worry about the placements rest depends on one's caliber

Chances depends upon the course you choose. Placements are available for all the course. You can easily sit in this.

B.Sc in Game Designing course in LPU isn't much good. Maybe outside the campus you may get a job but there are very few companies that hire these candidates. Furthermore, B.Sc will not be sufficient atleast you should have a master degree to get a decent job.
