What are the placements in law programmes?

The School of Law at Lovely Professional University is governed and regulated by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and its curriculum is also provided by BCI and in order to make students top-to-date and the latest trends in the field of law, the School of Law takes initiatives to modify the curriculum as and when need arises. Students have undergone internships at various High Courts, law firms, law chambers, commissions, corporate houses and NGOs. The Alumni's are working as Judicial officers, Legal practitioners and Corporate advisors and Civil servants. In addition to this, MOOT court sessions are also provided to experience the scenario of courts. Students undergo rigorous internship & training with (a) LPU offers more than 250 programmes where Law is one among them. Our students have interned in reputed law firms and under High Court judges of a different state. Some of the companies which have made or shown interest in recruitment from our campus are: MAP Legal Corporation, Manupatra & Co, Integrity Associates, LEGASIS, Thomson Reuters have recruited the students and many more at the annual package of Rs. 300000 per annum and above.

Online Access to Manupatra in Library Seminars and Quiz held in Domain Mock Trial (Civil and Criminal) are being conducted in the Similar Manner as that of the Court Proceedings. As per my knowledge, the law programs in LPU are approved by Bar Council of India, School of Law is one of the best Law colleges in India and Punjab. To get direct admission B.A. LL.B. In Top Colleges, you should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks. Intermediate passed candidates can apply for an integrated course in law. The selection of the candidates is offered through written tests and interviews. But it varies from University to University. One of the pros of pursuing B.A. LL.B. Is the learning opportunities that prepare you to pursue a law profession in the corporate sector. Corporate sectors also include various distinguished law firms as well, where a graduate may receive a lucrative package. Although there are various Universities that offer this course, But I must advise one can go for University that offers this course with varies exposure, I. e. Lovely Professional University. For taking admission in LPU, students need to qualify in LPU NEST Exam. LPU NEST (Lovely Professional University National Eligibility & Entrance and Scholarship Test) is a National Level test conducted by LPU in Online Proctored mode this year. The law programs are approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). Being alumni I am not aware of LPU's placement structure of Law but that does not mean I don't know anything. The beauty of LPU is that they do have an awesome culture. They organize tons of events. And students from each school can participate. I have MET many of my friends at such events. In One world event where LPU organize fest for all countries. And all students participate and organize this event. I have made new friends. He is South Indian and he is from Law. He told me that they are in their last year so they are having fun. And making memories for the future as they all are selected already PPO pre-placement offers. That means they have been selected for internships at OJT on-the-job training. That means there is a high probability of changing their training into a full-time job. If we talk about placements average Law student get 2-3 LPA in starting. And further, they can go for more good options after their training period done.
