What is the admission process for B.Tech in LPU?

So, as per the official website of LPU, the Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) is defined as - Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. So, qualifying the Eligibility criteria and by participating in the online counselling schedule as mentioned on the website based on merit seat will be allocated to you and you can proceed for Admissions in any programme in LPU. Highlights of the programme: Credit Transfer : Student after successful completion of 2 years. At LPU may be given option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for the completion of programme subject to conditions and norms of regulatory bodies. International Exposure Option : Student may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country as decided by the University subject to conditions. Semester Exchange : Student may be given an option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for a semester as decided by the University subject to conditions. LPU provides admission in 15 different types of B.Tech programs. The course and modules are designed as per the industry needs and specifications. An Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in areas of skill development. For taking admission in any course of B.Tech in LPU, one may possess the following eligibility criterion: * Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. * For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. In order to avail admission in LPU B.Tech programme one has to qualify the LPU NEST entrance exam conducted by LPU.

You'll have to give LPU NEST to get into LPU as it is one of the eligibility criteria that LPU has. The examination tests your depth of the concepts and the learnings that you had in your education and it is very relevant and convenient for students. LPU NEST is a huge opportunity for students to prove their self-worth and understanding of the concepts. It is a test carefully designed to check the understanding of the student of concepts from Science to management to all. It is a very flexible examination. LPU NEST provides the chance to grab a good amount of scholarships to a student. Now, how do you prepare for a test, the expert answer would be to learn the concepts then do the previous year's examination papers and practice papers of the same examination to understand the pattern and difficulty of the exam and to get used to giving exams to score more. Also, you need to satisfy this eligibility criterion. You should be pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 and qualified LPU NEST. Hello Virat, My cousin took admission recently at LPU in the B.Tech programme. Let me share how he applied for admission this year. LPU offers B.Tech in various programmes such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. The eligibility criteria for LPU courses will be different from one course to another. Students need to have a complete awareness of eligibility criteria for courses offered LPU at various levels. Especially for programme B.Tech, the eligibility criteria is 60% aggregate marks with Physics Maths English . And also have to qualify for the LPU NEST exam which is conducted by the university itself. You may get a scholarship as well on the basis of marks achieved in the LPU NEST exam. The steps to apply for admission at LPU- 1. Firstly, Go to the LPU website and there is an option for Apply Now. Or directly visit admission. Lpu. In. 2. Register onto LPUs admission portal with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No). Your email id will act as your username for the portal, and the password will be set by you while registering on the portal. 3. You will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this. 4. Log in to the LPUs admission portal with the already created username/password apply for the LPU NEST test 5. Book your exam slot for the exam ( exam date preference will be asked) 6. The next step will be the result and seat allotment ( online counseling) 7. After seat allotment, you need to pay the semester fee and will get the registration number of the university. Hi, In order to take admission in LPU you need to qualify the admission eligibilty criteria and the eligibility criteria for various courses of B.Tech is as follows:60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) + LPUNEST. For Biotechnology, Food Tech and Biomedical engineering. - English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths/ Biology/ Biotech and rest all same. Appearing for LPUNEST exam is mandatory. The candidates may apply for the LPUNEST Exam online. For B.Tech the LPUNEST Exam will comprise of Physics, Chemistry, English, Maths or Physics, Chemistry, English, Biology which the candidate may opt. The exam will be of 420 marks for 150 minutes. On the basis of the cut off of the scores received in the LPUNEST exam the candidate will get admission into the course. Even the LPUNEST will make the candidate avail the scholarship which again depends upon the cut off scores. There are other scholarships also that the candidate may avail. Scholarship:Eligibility Qualification/ Qualification previous to Eligibility Qualification: The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of Eligibility qualification.
