One of my friend's brother is also studying there in Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology BHMCT ) Let me share few points about the Hotel Management programme at LPU : Curriculum: High academic standards are maintained by offering the curriculum framed in consultation with industry experts. Student exposure: Being a part of a resource-rich University, the students have an advantage of interdisciplinary exposure which is not possible in standalone colleges. University-Hotel: The School also trains its students in the campus hotel named UniHotel of 25 rooms hosting national and international guests where students practice along with the staff. Infrastructure: The School has five modern kitchens with two bakeries. All kitchen and bakery are equipped to enable a student to perform scientifically and to attain their best of learning through most modern gazettes. We have few training restaurants to teach a student about the authentic serving style of food and beverage. We are equipped with one front office laboratory, two housekeeping laboratories, two computer laboratories with 60 computers, and a simulation laboratory for aviation. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. The eligibility for the course is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. If you fulfill this eligibility criteria, then you can follow the steps to proceed: Step 1- Sign Up Register on LPU's admission portal with your basic details. You will receive mail once you have successfully registered. Login at LPU's admission portal with an already created username and password. Step 2- Application for Admission Fill the application form and submit. Select your me from the list. Make a partial payment of Rs. 10,000/- (Application fee, i.e. Rs. 500; Rest under the me fee of the first semester). Upload the documents for verification. Pay the balance fee within the time frame as set by LPU. In case, you would like to appear for LPU NEST for scholarship purposes, you may proceed with depositing the test fee later on.
