As per UGC guidelines, the fresh batches have been asked to start on 1 sept. 2020.
This ii caused by delays in many processes owing to Covid-19 lockdown and health scare.
You can complete your admission process at www.admission.lpu.in as the seats are filling in fast and at present the highest scholarships are being availed as per the eligibility.
    Hope this helps

The batch for B.Sc in Agriculture at Lovely Professional University (LPU) for the current academic year is expected to commence in August 2025, typically around the first or second week, depending on the completion of admission formalities and the academic calendar.

LPU usually announces the exact reporting and orientation dates on its official website and communicates them directly to admitted students via email or SMS. Students are advised to complete their admission process, including document verification and fee payment, well in advance to avoid any delays.

The university also conducts orientation sessions at the beginning of the ac

Hey, so from what I've checked on LPU's official site, the NEST counselling is mainly done online, which is super convenient for us students anywhere in India. You just log in after your results, pick your preferred courses and seats based on your rank, and lock it all in digitally—no need to travel right away.
It's got this smooth flow: download your scorecard, fill choices online, get seat allotment via merit, pay the initial fee (like INR20,000) through net banking or UPI, then submit docs later. LPU makes it flexible too, letting you pay offline at campus if you prefer, but the core process stays online for quick access.

Yeah, LPU totally releases the LPU NEST counselling dates on their official site—it's super organized and student-friendly. For 2026, they've got it starting February 8th onwards for B.Tech, with online seat preferences from Feb 8-10, results on 12th, and admissions up to late Feb. Results drop quick, like within 24-48 hours post-exam, so you can jump right into counselling without waiting forever.
It's all online mostly, through nest.lpu.in, where you update choices and get allotments based on your score—makes it easy from anywhere. No offline hassle unless you want campus visits for fees. LPU keeps everything updated live, way

Yes, it is actually very much required to bring along Class 10 and 12 certificates or at least mark sheets during the LPU NEST counseling, primarily because the university explicitly would wish to establish the age of applicants from the Class 10 marksheet and verify eligibility with the Class 12 certificate/marksheet before confirming admission and awarding a scholarship.

at LPU NEST counselling, you would have to check the result & rank, fill and lock online course/seat preferences, get the allotment of the seat based on the rank and choices, pay to secure the seat by paying the initial fee, and go on to upload/verify documents and pay the remaining fee within the stipulated time for final admission.
