Which is best in terms of placement: Doon Business School vs LPU?

Hi, LPU IS BEST. The university has been ranked high by various outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. LPU is a proud recipient of the Golden Star Award 2018 for being a University with Best Placements in India. Digital Learning has recognised LPU as having the highest Placement Record in North India. Business and Management Chronicle has ranked LPU among Top 10 Colleges in terms of placements. Aspiring Minds have ranked LPU as having Most Employable Students in consecutively twice in a row for previous academic sessions. Almost all the good companies visit LPU like Amazon, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Trident Group, KHIMJI RAMDAS, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, Nestle, ADOBE SYSTEMS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, CRESCENDO GROUP, Rallis India and several other firms. The highest Package Availed by Engineering (CSE) Student MS Tanya Arora is 42 LPA for batch 2020 by Microsoft. Students are placed in AMAZON at a package of 28 LPA. LPU is among top notch Universities having excellent placement record, experienced faculty and industry oriented curriculum. As per my opinion, LPU is best in terms of placement.

Dear Sri Joga, LPU is at another level when we talk about placements, such is the difference that B.A. Students of LPU are placed better then most MBA students of other B-Schools. When BBA students of LPU get placed at packages of 18 LPA and 15 LPA ! What to talk about MBA students. How is LPU able to pull it off? It can do it because of heavy investments in intellectual capital ! With more than 700 Ph.D. faculty, LPU has the largest talent pool as faculty in India. This enables it to drive the curriculum in the way the industry wants, not to mention the great industry interface it maintains to develop the best of strategies for curriculum and teaching pedagogy. With more that 600 companies coming to campus, it is virtually unmatched. So, there is no comparison. Because there is difference in the scale of operations of both. LPU is miles ahead. DVD.

Being an alumni of LPU, I would like to answer this question. As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in.LPU has not only maintained its excellence in placing its students every year but LPU sets placement record yet again. Crossing the mark of expected placement drives & offers, this year proved job-productive for LPU students not only in number but quality placement also. LPU is making new strides in placements of its students in top-notch brands every year. LPU has set the highest placement record, and the year 2017 too proved no different. In the year 2018, 5015 offers (including internships) for graduating batches 2017 & 2018 have already been generated, with a the highest annual salary package of Rs 31.83 Lacs for engineering students and Rs 15.20 Lacs for management students. Presently, LPU students are working world-wide with prestigious global companies like Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon and many more at salary packages of more than one Crore. Corporate like Tech Mahindra, Amazon, and Capgemini alone have recruited 100 students each in 2017 placement session. The successful and shining placement stories of LPU students is another reason for large number of students, from far off Indian states and other countries, are increasingly preferring admission at LPU.

Scholarship will be considered on the academic performances of the previous qualification percentage basis or else on the basis of performance in NEST (entrance test). Moreover, this year LPU provide the study grants for MBA programmes to students. The scope of LPU NEST has been extended this year to provide assured study grant of Rs 3 Crore to students aspiring to join Iims. The average package is around 3 lacs and the highest is 10 lacs for B.Tech in LPU.
