Which university is better for B.Tech CSE among Chitkara University and LPU?

Both LPU and Chitkara Universities are similar for pursuing B.Tech CSE graduation degree but LPU has additional edge of exposure, updated curriculum and good placements because of its aggressive brand building efforts. I personally believe LPU is the best University. LPU provides the latest curriculum which is accepted at industry level, industrial exposures and the best placement depending upon the caliber of the student. Every year nearly 600 companies visit for campus-recruitment of students. Dear Vipin, Since I have worked with both of them, and have 16 years in education as such, I can comment very well: B.Tech CSE is a highly in demand program these days! Everyone says they e the best, but how to compare? Well here comes to solution: compare the colleges on following points and SEE the difference. Curriculum : If at all the curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback of industry. Since IT is a highly dynamic field, you cant afford a program which is stuck in obsolete technologies and syllabi. Pedagogy : The teaching pedagogy formal the backbone of how the program is delivered, more the practical, better it is. Maximum exposure to practicals and internships more chances of becoming a well rounded professional. Technology: The businesses and the business functions are now highly tech driven, the tech program must have the exposure and training of the same. The world leading technologies like GitHub, Advance excel etc. Are must for any professional to succeed in career. Industry interface: Ultimately its the industry which is going to immerse the students in the placements, the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits and internships are must have in any tech program. Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days, the personality, ethics, virtuous, speech, body language, interpersonal skills etc. Are given high importance in the organisations. The program must include the training or modules on all these. Diversity: As he world shrinks into a aligned economy, the professionals will be required to work in cross cultural teams having entirely different work culture and ethos, the national and international diversity of students in a college is helpful in enabling the students develop right sensibilities for such work atmosphere. Entrepreneurship : Even though most of the students go for jobs, the exposure to entrepreneurship is required. This helps the professionals know how the other departments and the profit center heads work, what are the expectations etc. The college must have innovation labs, design thinking and business incubator. Community service: A bit of community projects in between the course are very important to develop the humane side of the person as well as learn the organizing skills. Both options are doing good even I faced lot of confusion in selection of university at the time of my graduation. After long comparison I felt good for LPU. It gave me extra edge in everything. I am an alumni of LPU and I have seen and heard his experience during his UG. From infrastructure to faculty members. From education quality to rankings and facilities in university. In everything LPU performed remarkable. The centralized system of LPU is so much strong that makes things easy to understand. The most important priorities of LPU is best quality of education and placements at great places. They follow these things and result is lot of deserved and eligible students got the best places and those who are not able to achieve anything due to their own mistakes then Grapes are sour. You understand what I mean. Moreover, LPU has Best Lifestyle and College Life. You will find lot of things to enjoy apart from the education. LPU campus is well planned and advanced in terms of facilities and technologies. LPU is good in all perspectives whether it is teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. You will find the students and staff from about 50 Countries; from Cities, Suburbs, small Towns; from every ethnic & religious background. There is strong system for attendance, education and examination. You have to follow the timetable for your classes and maintain the good percentage in attendance.
