Are 3 sections (Physics, Chemistry, Math) enough to qualify for the NEST exam or do I have to attempt the Biology sections also?

    No, attempting only Physics, Chemistry, and Math sections in the NEST exam is sufficient to qualify and be considered for merit ranking. NEST allows candidates to attempt questions from any three out of the four sections offered: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.

    • Sections: The exam consists of four sections: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.
