Are faculty members of LPU really good?

The faculty of LPU are doctorate and fulfill the benchmarks set by UGC. The LPU appoint the faculty through a rigorous process and scans them thoroughly from various angles before induction in the team. They are trained professionals and capable of training the students professionally. They have studied at top universities of the country and have either worked in academic field or have worked with industrial giants. As far as the academic and professional details about faculty are concerned, it is mentioned on the website. The teachers also act as mentors to the students. The students can call them and talk to them to get an answer to any academic or personal problem they feel stuck at. The faculty are engaged in higher learning and research work simultaneously. Such is the ambience of LPU. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. This is very much helpful for students. The research oriented faculty members are very much dedicated to carrying out research work. They have many patents under their hood. The faculty members are awarded with projects worth crores by the central government. And foreign universities. And every year they get hundreds of research papers published which itself is an achievement. In short, the faculty members of LPU are very much dedicated to providing world class teaching to its students. One unique thing about faculty is that at LPU if the students do not give good feedback of a particular teacher or not liking the way he teaches then they can report it to the head of the dept who reports the same to the head of school and finally the tea.

All the faculty members are highly experienced and they are very supportive and a lot of the faculty members have received some kind of appreciation award from somewhere and they've always helped the students to grow and learn a lot more. Mostly faculty members are from IITs, NIT s and GATE qualified with Ph.D. degree and having 3-4 research paper publish. Most of them are also having postdoctoral degree from renowned foreign University. I can say Professors or faculty of LPU are renowned for their friendly, open door approach. They bring their passion and enthusiasm for teaching into the classroom providing an intimate, interactive, personalized approach to learning. They are even faculty members from Ph.D. background and even LPU pass-outs. But overall, the quality of faculty members is good. The curriculum is tough, but if you understand the system, then it's easy, it is also advanced. 75% attendance is compulsory, you will be detained if you don't have it. There are 3 CAs for every subject, conducted in classes itself which 30% weightage in semester GPA and 15% from mid and 5% attendance marks. So you conclude, even if you sit idle, you will be contributing marks to your GPA.

The faculty of LPU is well qualified and mostly all are Ph.D. from reputed IITs, NITs, Iims, and other top universities of the world. LPU take care of their regular student and alumni also they update us via regular mails about any major things happen or about their rankings. It is the best university usually student don't like their college after getting pass-out but I love LPU still want to go back to live those days back. LPU is the best private university. Dear Virat, After discussion with alumni of LPU, I can say the faculty of LPU is really GOOD ! Most of the query has been answered, but the faculty environment has not been. Let me explain what I mean. Like already mentioned, faculty members hold good industry experienced, hold related degrees, and are recruited through a tedious process. Though having such a qualification need not mean one can teach well, I agree with that, but the system of how the faculty's environment work is good. If a faculty is not giving his best or delivering good lectures then students have the free option to report the same to the HEAD OF DEPARTMENT and ultimately THE HEAD OF SCHOOL and GET THE TEACHER REPLACED or CHANGED. There are frequent feedback sessions and suggestions taken of the faculty members from the students on how well they are delivering in the classes, Arent they? A university like LPU having 30000+ students from more than 6000+ international students, it's important to deliver the quality of education these students expect coming from all around the world. Ignoring few faculty members LPU has great faculty members delivering quality education to the students. And if you don't like students can always change your teacher, students are given that liberty. The main point is for students to not take that situation as a way to use their phone in class or gossip or just daydreaming or sleeping. Students, you have that right but please do go around demoting your own university, which in turn will demote your degrees as well. Hope the answer added some light to the query. Talking about faculty members Professors are easily approachable and they are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. The management is student friendly and helps out every one in need. Thee best part at LPU is that the feedback of students are frequently taken and considered I. e if they are facing any problem with any professor or not liking the way he teaches then they can report it to head of dept who reports the same to head of school and finally the teacher gets replaced. Well, that's more of a judgemental question, nobody could be 100 % precise with this information. But overall, the quality of faculty members is good in almost all the reputed Universities across the country. Faculty members hold good industry experienced, hold related degrees, and are recruited through a tedious process.
