Being an alumni of LPU I believe I can answer your concern more appropriately. I has many friends living in LPU hostels. You are supposed follow certain rules if you are a hosteller. Very first thing is security. LPU is the safest campus. 24x7 security surveillance through 4000+ CCTV cameras is the backbone of LPU security system. Boys are allowed to go out but they have to come back before 8pm but girls have a bit more safe rules. In winters they have to come back to their hostels before 6 pm and in summers they have to report back in their hostels before 7 pm. I am a alumni of LPU and I can tell you take it is actually a good place for ambitious and focused people to study in. If you want to explore, learn, grow and want to get placed in good companies then I must say please go ahead and take admission. Being a alumni Hostellers, I woulds say, Hostellers are allowed to go out of the university but some rules and regulations are made for this. Girls are not allowed to go outside without permission I. e without leave ID. In the summer season, they have to enter the hostel before 7 PM and for winter, its before 6 PM.
