Are the MBA seats available in the B-Schools equal to the number as mentioned on the website or we can switch course after taking admission?

For ex: FMS, Delhi is having 100 seats for general candidates. What if all the general students choose finance as their specialisation? Are the seats for finance, HR, marketing divided by 100 for say 40 are for finance, 30 for HR and 40 for marketing?

There would not be separate admissions such that, once students are into the course after second semester, specialisations will be opted by the students only in third semester. There is no such thing about the seats.

You can shift your stream, but that will be if you give a valid reason and yes seats mentioned on websites are correct details.

Hi. Hardik. The number of MBA/PGDM seats available in B-schools may not always be equal to the number mentioned on their website. The actual number of seats available can vary depending on several factors, such as the number of candidates who have accepted admission offers, canceled admissions, or deferred their admission to a later date. Some B-schools may also allow students to switch courses after taking admission, subject to availability and meeting the eligibility criteria. GIBS Business School offers various top PGDM programs in Bangalore, and students can apply for a course of their choice based on their career aspirations and a

Usually, the number of seats is fixed, but there may be many students who are willing to shift. In some cases with disclaimers, the FMS management can switch the course if the seats are available.

The total number of seats available in your average MBA B-school is the total number of seats they have for a specific batch. It includes every specialisation including Human Resources, Marketing, and Finance.

Dear Hardik, You can switch the specialisation based on availability, For example, if you leave the seat of HR, then it will be given to someone who is interested in HR. Likewise, if someone leaves the seat of Finance, then that will be given to you as per the guidelines. I did MBA in Finance from LPU. Being alumni of LPU, I highly recommend LPU for an MBA degree based on the following things-
The Business School of LPU is accredited by ACBSP, Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs from the USA ensuring quality education and industry-experienced faculty members, studying in LPU will get a degree accredited from a body o

It is important to note that switching courses after taking admission may not be possible in all cases and is usually subject to certain conditions such as availability of seats, fulfillment of eligibility criteria, and approval from the B-School authorities. It is recommended to check the policies and regulations of t
