Can a candidate with JEE Mains rank of 3301 SC category and CRL rank 89000 get admission in any NIT's?

Another question is that what is actually the difference between BITS and top 5 IIT's CS branch. Specifically, talking about the placements.

Can a person still has a chance to qualify and take admission in top 5 IIT's and that to CS branch while only having 8 to 9 months left in hand for the exam. Keeping in mind that he has wasted all the 14 to 16 months and has to read all the chapters in this remaining time period. Or should he just concentrate on BITS and NIT and aim for good scores in JEE Mains and BITSAT.

There are chances of NIT but they are at Srinagar, Agartala. If you need a core branch if not then there are other NIT you can get. And also you can try for state government colleges. Best of luck.
