    I have done engineering from LPU and I have a lot of friends from the civil branch and they all are placed in good sectors with great packages. Students are placed in companies like Cleanmax Solar, Al Rakha (UAE), Dharam Consulting, Era Infra Engineering Ltd. , KEC International, Simplex, WSP India, XL Dynamics, CVENT, Rishishwar Construction, Premier Developers and Contractors, etc. In Civil Engineering LPU emphasizes the evolution of manmade infrastructure as LPU understands how they have evolved to the present scenario.     The highlights of civil engineering at LPU,
    1. Most of the faculty staff is from reputed organizations with their the highest degree from various reputed institutes such as IITs, NITs, etc. Apart from that, faculty have got previous industrial experience also.
    2. The capstone project is an integral part of B.Tech programme in which students have to pick a live project based on practical problem-based scenario (ideally from industry) and work for six months under a mentor and present a report at the end. This is beneficial to enhance your presentation skills.
