Lovely Professional University (LPU), both the BBA and BBA (Hons.) programs are excellent choices, depending on a student's career goals and academic aspirations. The BBA (Hons.) programme at LPU is more advanced and research-oriented, designed for students who want to gain a deeper understanding of business concepts and leadership strategies. It includes additional coursework, specialisation options, and a research project or dissertation in the final year, making it ideal for those planning to pursue an MBA or enter managerial and analytical roles.

The decision between pursuing a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) or a BBA (Hons.) (Bachelor of Business Administration Honors) depends on your career goals and academic preferences. Both programs provide foundational business knowledge, including management, marketing, finance, and human resources. However, a BBA (Hons.) typically offers a more rigorous curriculum, with advanced subjects, deeper specialization, and a focus on research, making it a good choice for those who aim for higher academic achievements or aspire to pursue post-graduate studies in business or management. BBA Vs BBA Honours
Both courses are similar. The main difference is that in BBA (H), you can focus on a single subject. At the same time, the BBA course provides an overview of all of the topics covered in the honours programme. The BBA (H) programme lasts four years. -
So I would just suggest that in the upcoming times, that BBA honours is going to be a big course. In today time BBA is considered as a non that useful course or totally time pass course but in the upcoming time BBA honours from Delhi University will be accepted with great prestige.

After successful completion of that, they do not require to do a Masters degree or M.Phil. They can directly join a Ph.D. In the case of BBA (Honours) they can directly join a Ph.D. or a DBA. Hope this helps. Thanks.

Abroad, students who consistently score 75%+ are provided with an opportunity to pursue an honours year where they get to pursue a research topic. After successful completion of that, they do not require to do a Masters degree or M.Phil. They can directly join a Ph.D. In the case of BBA (Honours) they can directly join a Ph.D. or a DBA. Hope this helps. Thanks.

India's major number of students do not yet know and yet does not worry about the Honours year and its value. Usually an Honours year is a 4th year of a 3-year pass-degree. Thanks.

Hi. Neha. Hi. There. I would say go for BBA. After earning a BBA. The opportunity for an MBA/PGDM is very high because business administrators could be helpful in an MBA or PGDM. After completing an MBA or PGDM, you can make enormous wages. More professionalism in the business setting is now giving rise to courses, with BBA being one among them. Getting an BBA Degree from top B-School in Bangalore like GIBS Bangalore will boost your confidence and enhance your capability. There isn't a major difference between BBA and BBA (H). If anyone wants to do specialisation in a specific field then one can go for BBA (H) and after doing BBA (H) one has to go for that specific field when doing Masters degree. And with just BBA the student will get the basic knowledge about each and every specialisation which are in BBA (H). And can choose MBA with any desired specialisation.

Hi. Neha. I would say there is no such major difference in these two programme. But I would say go for BBA from top B-School like GIBS B-School Bangalore because there well designed curriculum is focused on creating new age roles in new age industries. They believe in holistic development of their students. Placement support throughout session is ensure that students are transforming themselves into employable professionals.

While as BBA (Gen) course gives you an overview of all those subjects taught in honour's course. In BBA (H) depth knowledge of subject is given while general gives overview of subject. It depends lot on the college or institution, their teaching pedagogy. If the institution focuses more on hands on learning then its any day a better option as practical knowledge provides better understanding. In general BBA provides overviews of the subjects and BBA Honours provides more in-depth knowledge.
