Yes, a B.Tech graduate can appear for the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET), but it depends on the category they are applying for.
Generally, KTET has four categories, and the eligibility criteria for each category are different:
Category I: For teaching in Lower Primary classes (Class 1-5), candidates should have passed Higher Secondary with a minimum of 45% marks and hold a 2-year Teacher Training Certificate (TTC) or a 4-year B.El.Ed degree.
