Hello Ankita, As per my experience, for the ECE programme, you have studied Mathematics, Physics and English as mandatory subjects. So a medical student who have studied Maths as an optional subject in 12th then can pursue engineering in ECE. Otherwise, you may pursue, BPT B.Sc. B.A. BBA etc. Programmes. According to my opinion, BPT would be good for you and moreover, LPU is the best university for this programme to my knowledge. Keeping all these points in mind, I would say that LPU would be the best choice for doing BPT

For engineering one needs a combination of PCM. There are certain schools where Physics Chemistry Maths can be studied along with Biology which is known as double medical. If you are such a student then of course you are welcome to go ahead for ECE engineering. You just need 60 percent aggregate with PCM in class 12. B Tech course is an Engineering programme that seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic sciences to technology with relevant practice through labs and projects for building problem-solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in areas like Signal Processing, Communication S...more

It depends on the subjects you have studied in your 12th standard. For most of the engineering. Programme, I think Maths is compulsory. Still, I can tell you the eligibility of B.Tech ECE in LPU (one of the renowned organisation), if the eligibility match, you can take admission.
60% in 12th with English Maths and Physics with LPU NEST exam. LPU is in Jalandhar, Punjab. LPU ranked 66th in engineering, and 23rd in pharmacy. Also, I want to say that LPU have medical related course, if you want, you can pursue your career in that. LPU offers more than 150 programme from Diploma to Ph.D. and around 70 courses after 12th, I will suggest, t...more -
To my understanding Medical and engineering, course is entirely different, you might do any medical course after completing you B.E in ECE but you can not join this field. Tech in ECE (Electronics and Communications Engineering) course include Microprocessor, Electronics and Communication, Analog Transmission, Digital Communication, Analog Communication, Satellite Communication, Wave Progression, Microwave Engineering, etc. Which is a completely different field as compared to medical. Further, if you would still like to go ahead with ECE, as per my knowledge, School of Electronics & Electrical Engineering SEEE LPU is one of the pro...more

For studying B.Tech. In ECE, you need to pursue 12th with Mathematics as a subject. It could be either additional subject as well. But since you are a Medical student with Biology is a primary subject, that means you are good command over Biology itself. So in that case, I definitely suggest you to pursue B.Tech. In Bio-Technology. As per my analysis, due to recent advancement in the field of Bio-Technology, the Molecular Biology and genetic engineering domain promises to create a research oriented and placement oriented environment.
