    I think yes because one of my friend is pursuing B.Tech and she was a PCBM student.

    you can opt for Food Technology after BIPC. There are a number of options that you can opt for such as:
    B.Sc in Food Processing, Food Storage, Preservation and Food Tech
    B.Tech in Food Technology/ Food Science
    The Indian Food Industry is currently valued at USD $39.71 billion, and the value is likely to reach USD $65.4 billion by 2018 (Govt. of India and IBEF).
    According to DIPP, the Indian Food Processing sector has received around USD $6.7 billion as FDI between April 2000 and December 2015. The investments are poised to reach the value of USD $33 million in the next 10 years.

    Yes, of course. Since some institutions consider students of both PCB and PCM for B.Tech food Technology. One of them which is esteemed, as well is Punjab agricultural university.
