    Hello Kamran,
It is highly unlikely to get admission in SRM University without taking an entrance examination. However, there is a way to get the admission through management quota. But, you need to understand that for getting admission under management quota you should be ready to pay for some extra fee during admission (once), and the other fee will be the same as per college guideline. Now discuss administration charge for all campus : Kattankulathur which is otherwise called principle grounds. Branches like CSE, mechanical, IT, ECE, mechatronics, is almost 3.5 Lacs per annum. Others branches: Almost 2.5 Lacs for each year. Ramapura

For most programmes at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRM IST), admission is entrance-based. However, for some courses, admissions may be offered on a merit basis depending on academic performance in qualifying exams. While BTech and MBA typically require entrance exams like SRMJEEE or CAT/MAT, a few non-technical or Diploma courses may not require an entrance test.

The answer to this question depends on the course that the student wishes to pursue at SRM IST. For students looking to join the BTech courses offered bySRM IST, they cannot join the institute without appearing for the JEE Mains entrance examination. However, for courses like BDes, there is no need to appear for any examination. Candidates are advised to visit the official webste of SRM IST to confirm the selection process.

No. Candidates cannot join SRMIST without SRMJEEE.  SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam (SRMJEEE) is mandatory for SRM BTech admissions. Candidates will have to appear for the SRMJEEE online remote proctored test to gain admission to any BTech courses offered at SRMIST campuses located at Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram, Tiruchirappalli, Ghaziabad, Sonepat and Andhra Pradesh.

The admission is entrance-based for most of the courses. SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRM IST), formerly known as SRM University accepts national-level entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, TANCET, NATA, etc. for admission to MBA, BArch, and other courses. SRM University admission to courses like BTech and M.Tech is also through the entrance exams like SRMJEEE, SRMJEEM, etc., which are conducted by the SRM University Chennai. However, the institute offers merit-based admission at SRM IST.

Yes, direct admission is possible. Also, your admission fee will be higher than usual if you use any other method. However, I recommend that you have funds and can afford INR. The remainder goes to SRM University.
