  • No, an MSc Clinical Psychology graduate cannot prescribe medication in India. Only psychiatrists, who are medical doctors (MD in Psychiatry), have the authority to prescribe medication for mental health disorders.

Clinical psychologists are trained to provide therapeutic interventions, such as counselling, psychotherapy, and behavioural therapy, but they do not have medical training or the legal license to prescribe drugs.
