A PCM guy can appear for JEE Mains and Advance, 2 times and for JEE Mains 3 times, so the total opportunities you have for JEE Mains were three times. So, from my side it is a big yes that you may appear for 2018. So, I suggest, if you want to drop a year, go ahead and practice more and more questions, so that you may score well in 2018 JEE examinations. Good luck.
