Can I apply for admission after my 12th Boards or is it necessary to appear for LPU NEST exam?

Well that depends on your choice of programme. In the current scenario of covid-19, LPU has relaxed their eligibility norms. Therefore, If you are going for B.Tech than LPU NEST is required with certain percentage criteria but in case of any other programme, LPU NEST is not mandatory. LPU NEST leads to a good amount of scholarship. Even after completion of your admission procedure you may apply for LPU NEST for enhancing your scholarship. It is a good opportunity to get the scholarship applicable which will be reduced from fee of every semester. Admissions are going on, apply without any delay to avail the opportunity.

Hi Ankita, Yes, you can apply to take admission in LPU on the basis of your marks in 12th class. This year due to the covid-19 pandemic situation across the country LPU has relax their eligibility criteria for maximum of a programs they are offering. LPU offers more than 250 programs in various domains. Where very few programs are there in which LPU NEST is subject to qualify to satisfy the eligibility criteria, for ex: B.Tech. However, if the candidate scored 90% or more than that in 12th class then LPU NEST would be exempted. # Lovely Professional University which is most searched Institution nowadays because of recent NIRF rankings released by MHRD. # You will be very fortunate to study in such Institute which has clinched the position among top 80 best Institutions of the country. LPU NEST is mandatory for admission in engineering, for other courses you need to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria. Dear Ankita, The admission to B.Tech without LPU NEST or JEE Mains is possible only if you have scored above 90% in 10+2 with Maths, physics and English. LPU is among the top 100 universities in the country as per NIRF rankings, they have to maintain the a threshold for admissions, if you go into the programme, you will have a great peer group due to this threshold. Hi,You have not specified the course for which you need admission in LPU because for some courses like B.Tech, M.Sc. Agriculture, Ph.D. etc. LPU NEST is mandatory. But for the other courses you can give LPU NEST just for a higher scale of scholarship. The syllabus and the paper pattern of LPU NEST is given on the website of LPU. The LPU expertise takes place each at intervals in and out of the classroom, nurturing creativity and innovation through challenging project work and practical learning, and providing an environment conducive to sparking ideas and how to translate those ideas into reality. Yes, You can take admission in LPU after 12th boards directly. But LPU NEST as the name suggests LPU National Eligibility & Scholarship Test so, this test determines your eligibility to take admission and the tuition fees you have to pay according to the scholarship which is determining by your LPU NEST score. So, it is advised to take the opportunity of scholarship by applying for the test. The syllabus, time table and venue everything is mentioned in the official website of the university. If any student wants to take direct admission without LPU NEST then the student must score equal to of more than 70% in the 12th boards. I hope this answer will help you. Thank you and ALL THE BEST.

But as LPUNEST is considered for offering scholarships as well as determining Eligibility for admission in various programmes. So, I suggest you appear in LPUNEST to get maximum benefit even if it is not mandatory for the course you are seeking admission to.</p><p dir="ltr">LPU offers more than 150 courses, and there are certain eligibility criteria that a student is required to meet to take admission. In general, the score in the previous qualification should be as required as per eligibility mentioned on the website. In addition to that, the candidate needs to qualify LPUNEST to get admission to courses like B.Tech., MBA, Hons, B.Pharm, MLT etc. For some courses like BA, B.Comm, BBA etc. LPUNEST is not mandatory.</p><p dir="ltr">So, it totally depends on the eligibility criteria for the course you wish to take admission to.</p><p dir="ltr">You can check the eligibility criteria for your desired course at LPU website.</p><p dir="ltr">I hope this resolves your query</p>
