You can do. Symbiosis diploma does not add any value to you except you may learn from the study material (and in that sense IGNOU Diploma in the same subject is much better in terms of quality and cost too is almost 1/4th of SCDL) since it is distance learning course you won't get any special treatment in campus placement. However, I will help you to get placed if it improves your communication skills.
