The best way to pursue your dream is through Diploma course. Proceed with Diploma lateral programme and later on you can apply for B.Tech lateral entry. Hi there, the eligibility for B.Tech CSE is 60 percent. However, (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmir Migrants). Yes you can. But the question is which kind of college are you targeting? There are plenty of private colleges who take students in the course as long you provide them with money but that wouldn't be a very favorable deal so I would recommend you to target top private colleges like lpu, vit, srm which they have their own entrance exam and also have management quota. So keep this in mind and good luck.

In B.Tech, you have to study all the engineering subjects, But if you opt for B.Tech Hons. Then you have to study only one of the engineering subjects in more depth. So, in B.Tech you have to study all the subjects given by colleges. But in B.Tech Hons. You have to study only one subjects which you like the most and you get specialisation only in one subjects. So, according to my opinion, B.Tech Hons. Is the best option, In nowadays there is a very great demand for Hons. Degree. Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. Yes, you can pursue B.Tech CSE with 50%-55% in class 12th. Quantum University, Roorkee is located in Uttarakhand is one such college where students from all over India are currently pursuing engineering in various branches. The fee is affordable here and a 100% scholarship is given to students who secure 90% and above in class 12th.
