Yes you can. But the question is which kind of college are you targeting? There are plenty of private colleges who take students in the course as long you provide them with money but that wouldn't be a very favorable deal so I would recommend you to target top private colleges like lpu, vit, srm which they have their own entrance exam and also have management quota. So keep this in mind and good luck.

    Dear Student,
Each university and college follow certain criteria for admission to CSE. As I am a working member of LPU which is among the top engineering institutes in India and the LPU faculty of engineering ranked 66th among all the Government and private institutes. LPU provides ample opportunities to every eligible student to secure good placement with the help of a dedicated Division of Career Services (team of about 40 persons), Center for Professional Enhancement, and faculty/staff from parent Schools. It has also been accredited by The Institution of Engineers, Established in 1920, and Incorporated by the Royal Charter in 1935.

In B.Tech, you have to study all the engineering subjects, But if you opt for B.Tech Hons. Then you have to study only one of the engineering subjects in more depth. So, in B.Tech you have to study all the subjects given by colleges. But in B.Tech Hons. You have to study only one subjects which you like the most and you get specialisation only in one subjects. So, according to my opinion, B.Tech Hons. Is the best option, In nowadays there is a very great demand for Hons. Degree. Choosing the best university with good placement is also important, I would recommend LPU based on my research that I have done by interacting LPU B.Tech stude

Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. So, first of all decide the programme that you want to join and check its Eligibility criteria for Admission. LPU conducts LPU NEST for all the programmes. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. For most of the programmes, it serves both the purposes. As per the official website of LPU, the Schedule for LPU N
